Rough Draft of Final Projects

I can't believe it's the end of the semester already! I want to say how much I've enjoyed reading your blogs each week and having this opportunity to work with such an enthusiastic and creative group of people. Irish literature is one of my greatest loves, and I'm glad we had a chance to explore this (zany, non-linear, deceptive, and often times just darn-right confusing!) world together. I hope you will take this last blog as a chance to share what you've learned this semester and provide positive feedback to your peers to help them create a dynamic final project. Here's what is required of you this week:

1) Post a rough draft of your final project and/or paper. This is not a "description" of your final project; I actually want to "see" something: a chapter, a poem, a painting, or a part of your essay.

2) Write a brief paragraph saying what you've learned this semester. What have you gotten out of this class? What have you learned about the novel, particularly the Irish novel? What will you take away from this class?

3) By Thursday at 11:59 pm post comments on at least THREE of your peers' drafts.

Remember that the final draft of your project must be posted to your blog by May 18 at 11:59 pm.

That's all!
